A month before the wedding, Kern and I were honored by a group of dear friends in Brookhaven at an engagement party. It was wonderful to see some familiar faces as well as meet so many folks that I have heard Kern talk about over the years.

Kern's two grandmothers (Grandmother and Nana), his grandfather (Papaw) and seated are my grandmother (Gran Fran) and her older sister, my great Aunt Marcia, who came all the way from Nebraska!
We are blessed to have the love and support of multiple generations!
