I affectionately refer to DC as the "biggest small town in America." I live and work on Capitol Hill where I bike and walk almost everywhere from the gym to my friends' homes to the grocery store. Even though my community feels tight knit and cozy, the District offers world-class museums, spectacular events and cultural diversity.
